Darwin Resort

I needed more pillows and the staff were very quick to respond to my request. My bed was a little uncomfortable and my room was quite small but overall I felt I got good value for money (a lot of the hotels in CBD were expensive). I wish the in-house dining could have been more nights than just FRI/SAT, as I was booked for a week, but was away on a camping trip those 2 nights. I wish there was a vending machine available 24/7 as the motel is a long way from any shops, etc and when you get back from a camping trip you need some snacks. There is a BP service station next door but it doesn't sell much savoury food.

Central to everything and secure. Rooms clean. Newish bathrooms. Everything you need.

It was very clean & tidy, very secure behind a key access gate. Even though you use an access key to enter the cabin once the door is shut it automatically locks & you press the green button to unlock the door (no actual keys but the doors lock & unlock when entered & close the door). Very safe. I’m sure the staff were amazing as well but I didn’t have any interaction with anyone (late check in & early checkout).

Clean, comfortable and quiet.. Extremely easy middle of the night check-in. Friendly, smiling staff. I recommended this hotel to the woman who books accomodation at my work. She usually puts us in those two hotels near the airport. (The ones which have horrific check-in times even in the middle of the night) Darwin Resort is better for less than half the price! Great find.
